		<description>fascinating interview with a tremendous poet. The comments on the Iraq War were most timely. Thrice Holy Land is excellent, though chilling. 

I can also identify with the poet&#039;s distrust of minimalism. Not that the style itself is deficient inherently, but its overuse can become a gimmick. In my own writing I rather abandoned it from boredom.
