Definitely go into it with an open mind. To story and visuals. Again, I think some will be drawn to it, to the plot, to the characters, and others won't be. I don't pass judgment on either view. I will say, the actor who played Alexandria does a very good job. She is a sympathetic character in many ways. Remarkable for one so young. The stunt man also has his moments.

I imagine the production of the film was an amazing experience for those involved. At least 18 countries for on location filming. Must have been quite the adventure. Fitting for an adventure/fantasy film.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('359','Cuchulain','Definitely go into it with an open mind.
I am drawn to the film and want to see it because of the stunning and innovative visual features, but I am also inclined to give it a chance in terms of story. That is because, as you describe the situation, it reminds me of (1) Othello, (2) the relationship between the burn victim and the nurse in The English Patient and (3), of all things, Sheherazade. At least give the 'story' a shot. Thanks so much!
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('358','Robert Mueller','I am drawn to the film and want to see it because of the stunning and innovative visual features, but I am also inclined to give it a chance in terms of story.
